The originality of the MApI3 Master's course is to train versatile mathematical experts mastering the various fields of applied mathematics, ranging from deterministic models to random models. Based on a complementary approach, it combines knowledge of statistics, analysis, numerical calculus, optimization and algorithms. This is to meet the current needs of industries and services requiring the use of mathematical tools and methods at all levels of the design, production and management of goods and services. Indeed, deterministic and random techniques are very present and closely linked in the complex mathematical models used in the different branches of activity. Taking into account and managing uncertainties in a model or analyzing large sample data is combined with in-depth knowledge of the most efficient methods and algorithms of scientific computation. This rare profile of mathematical experts mastering these two skills is developed in the MApI3 course.
The MAPI3 master course has obtained the ANITI label.
